The Victorian Lea Wood pump house on the Cromford Canal, Derbyshire, still has a magnificent working beam engine powered by steam from adjacent boilers shown on the left. It is fired up every bank holiday for visitors. This was one of a number of pencil sketches I did on one of the open days.
