The recent on site paintings on this page have been wholly or mostly completed out in the open – something I very much enjoy when time allows. They are mostly sketches that have been painted rapidly in all weather conditions and are very helpful when remembering scenes in the studio (along with photographs).
I now have a mobile painting studio in the form of a wonderful 23 year old VW T4 camper van (for when it’s too windy to be out in the open!).
