Whitby Reflections (NC 368)
On a family day trip to Whitby some years ago, I photographed this shop window which had a mirror reflecting the famous St Mary’s Church from across the harbour. A midst the view and shop contents there is also the feint outline of the church as it was reflected on to the window glass. Whitby is well known for it’s famous gothic connotations and the cropped gas lamp post adds a kind of symbolic reference to this amongst other things on display.
