Tapton Lock, Chesterfield (NC 257)

Tapton Lock on the Chesterfield Canal that originally ran for 46 miles to the River Trent in Nottinghamshire. This section now only runs as far as Staveley 5 miles away. The building pictured is a shop and visitors centre (the reason this scene was painted by me in 2010).
