New Mills Viaduct (NC 276)

New Mills Viaduct, spanning the Torrs Riverside Park and the Rivers Goyt and Sett, was built in 1884. The Torrs Gorge is approx 100 feet below the town and has the Millenium Walkway, a contemporary steel foot bridge suspended from the side of the Gorge with views of a large weir and numerous old mills.
