Hazelton Clump, Staffordshire #2 (NC 320)
This large group of trees, Hazelton Clump above Ilam, could be seen from the bedroom window of my childhood home (near to where I currently live in Ashbourne), they can also be seen on the horizon looking southwards from the stepping stones in Dovedale. The views from the actual trees looking towards Dovedale and Thorpe Cloud are wonderful too, a place to enjoy the splendour of our many native tree species at any time of the year.
