Dovedale and Thorpe Cloud (NC 327)
A view of the River Dove, looking downstream towards the famous Stepping Stones of Dovedale, below the massive carboniferous limestone peak of Thorpe Cloud. I wanted to capture in paint something of the grandeur of the place and why it attracts so many visitors at any time of the year.
