From Carrick-a-Rede, County Antrim (NC 431)

Looking over to the mainland from Carrick-a-Rede, County Antrim. The fisherman’s cottage is situated on the sheltered side of the island and would have been quite isolated. A long rope bridge is used to access the island which is looked after by the National Trust along with the beautiful surrounding coastline (including the Giant’s Causaway westwards along the coast, famous for it’s hexagonal basalt rock columns that stretch out into the sea).
