The River Wye as it flows through an autumnal Monsal Dale. The water makes an incredible sound as it cascades over the weir after heavy rainfall. I hope I have captured something of the shere romance of this beautiful scene in the Peak District National Park, partly inspired by the great 18th century artist – Joseph Wright of Derby.
