Sunset over Ardrossan Harbour, Scotland. On our return from the Isle of Arran some years ago, this was the sight we were greeted with, a glorious sunset. I enjoyed painting this picture with the challenge of depicting the colours of the setting sun and its effects on the sea as a boat sets off on a voyage.
