Path along Stanage Edge III is an original oil on canvas painting. It was completed in my studio from sketches and photos taken on the 5th October 2025 where my wife and I managed to walk along a stretch of the gritstone edge despite very strong winds from Storm Amy that rather fortunately blew us away from the precipice. I aimed to get as much perspective as I could into this painting using the sky as well as the path to give a sense of depth to the picture.
